BLASTSHIELD™ PLUS is specifically engineered as an ultra-high-strength barrier material for blast holes in waterlogged, wet conditions, and in holes with fractures or voids. It is also suitable for applications requiring a fully decoupled charge.
BLASTSHIELD™ PLUS is designed for ease of installation, featuring a patented gusset configuration. This gusset design ensures that the packaged material width is smaller than the target borehole diameter, reducing abrasion and preventing twisting during installation.

BLASTSHIELD™ PLUS is a high-tensile strength material with an internal laminate designed to prevent water ingress and protect explosives from degradation and environmental exposure. The inner lamination features a low coefficient of friction to prevent choking and enable efficient installation of initiation products. It also contains antistatic additives to eliminate the risk of static electricity buildup.
BLASTSHIELD™ PLUS is manufactured in accordance with AS 2187.2:2008 – Explosives: Storage and Use; Part 2 – Use of Explosives.
