Dimensions (if known): —

Equipment used

  • Spreader beams
  • Mobile Cranes
  • Water Truck
  • Cutter/utility knife
  • J-Pin 25 cm
  • 30 mm stainless steel screws

Alternatives and Reasons for Choosing Concrete Canvas

Before learning about Concrete Canvas, shotcrete was an option for this project. Concrete Canvas was the solution because it was easier and faster to install than shotcrete.

Environmental Conditions

The project is being implemented in a crusher area that is still under construction, so many areas are impassable.

Land Preparation

  • Vegetation Clearing
  • Land Contour Releveling

Installation, Bonding, and Sealing Methods

The Concrete Canvas CCX-M is installed vertically with overlap joints. Fastening is done using 30 mm stainless steel screws spaced 10 cm apart at each overlap. Additionally, 25 cm J-Pins are installed at each joint on the slope to ensure the Concrete Canvas adheres perfectly to the soil substrate.

Hydration Method

The hydration process is carried out using a hose connected to a water truck.

Installation Duration

Installation productivity reaches around 200–300 m² of Concrete Canvas per day.

Project Success

The project was deemed a success. The client was satisfied with the ease of application and will evaluate this success for installations at other locations.
